Empowering Women
Fountain Foundation International has supported vulnerable women and children in the Democratic Republic of Congo by supporting them to uplift their livelihoods with farming projects. Fountain Foundation supported women with a potato farming project. The women are on their own with children. To support the women the following was bought:
- Farming equipment
- Health equipment and medicines bought
- Equipment for harvesting
- Seeds

Improve agriculture productivity
Fountain Foundation International uses holistic approaches to improve food and nutritional situation and productive, income-generating and social reproduction capacities of farming household members, by promoting resilience, sustainable production as well as availability and access to a diverse variety of food focusing on diversified food production, equitable distribution, affordable access, and nutrition awareness.
Fountain Foundation International is helping the women to improve agriculture productivity and increase resilience of farming households, increase their income, and improve their nutrition situation.
